Religious Leader: Valarie Kaur

Sikh activist Valarie Kaur uses strategic storytelling to advance social action campaigns on racial justice, immigration reform, religious pluralism, and gender equality.  The Director of Groundswell, a new multifaith voice for justice and social action, Valarie will lead a discussion among four dynamic thought leaders on Tuesday September 6th about a new vision for an American social action movement. Millennials, Moral Vision, & the Global Groundswell (10 years after 9/11), the 2011 Jack and Lewis Rudin Lecture, will take place at 7 p.m. at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC.
