What Does It Involve?


• 60 contact hours of intensive coach training

• coaching curriculum created with a theological approach to coaching church leaders and others in faith-based ministries to lead change in their congregations and organizations

• for those who want to gain professional coaching skills and hours that qualify towards credentialing through the International Coaching Federation and to concentrate on coaching in ministry settings

• on- site work with experienced coach facilitators who have ecumenical church experience and successful coaching practices

• classes of active learning that include coaching practice in every session

 

When Does It Happen?


• August 13-17, 2012: on-site intensive training residential (36 contact hours). The location is being finalized; details will appear here shortly.

• September 2012 – June 2013: 8 teleclasses of two 90-minute sessions each (24 contact hours).

 

What are the Outcomes?


• master core coaching skills

• learn to apply coaching approaches to ministry issues

• feedback on skill development and support for professional growth

• gain understanding of coaching theory and practice

• join an ecumenical cohort who are learning new approaches for change in the church

• earn necessary hours towards ICF accreditation

 

What Does It Cost?


• For the inaugural 2012-2013 year only, we will offer a special rate of only $2500. This covers the cost of the full training program, as well as room, board and materials for the residential portion

• For 2013-2014, the rate will be the full $3500 for the training

• Payment plans can be arranged to maximize your ability to draw from study leave allowances over multiple fiscal years
