Immediately following the Lives of Commitment Breakfast, Auburn hosted a panel discussion with honorees, Nurah Amat'ullah, Violet Dease, Emma Bronznick Goldberg and Jacki Zehner from 9:30-10:30. Equipping Women of Lead for Nearly Two-Hundred Years

The Women’s Mulifaith Program galvanizes women to become bold and resilient leaders committed to a lifetime of positive social change. Started over fourteen years ago, this initiative is the latest iteration of Auburn’s two-hundred year long dedication to the growth and development of dynamic, courageous and justice-seeking women leaders.

Auburn’s Women’s Multifaith Program -

ENABLES women’s moral courage by identifying the catalysts in women’s experience that inspire them to lead lives of bold determination for social change;

EQUIPS women with the skills to translate that courage into concrete action outfitting women with the practical tools necessary to actually effect change in a complex, multifaith, media driven world;

SUPPORTS women for leadership over the long haul building up those resources of mind, body and spirit that encourage a healthy life/leader balance.

 Past programs

For There is Hope: Gender and the Hebrew Bible - A Conference to Honor the Memory and Legacy of Tikva Frymer-Kensky - this tribute to one of the world's leading Hebrew Bible and Jewish history scholars explored the impact of her work on current and future feminist scholars across faiths and disciplines.

Beyond Gender: An Islamic Perspective on the Divine Reality - featuring noted Muslim scholar Amina Wadud.

Ceres: Genesis/Birth/Creation  - an art exhibit showcasing the work of important Jewish-Jamaican painter and author Anna Ruth Henriques

Favored or Fallen: Contrasting Christian Iconographies of Eve and Mary - a dialogue with Western and Eastern Orthodox Christian scholars, Deirdre Good and Diana Apostolos-Cappadona.
