After more than two decades in which the age of seminary students rose sharply and few recent college graduates decided to enroll, younger students are appearing in some seminaries and divinity schools in impressive numbers. Barbara Wheeler discusses the phenomenon in an article in USA TODAY. CSTE, in a new research project called Pathways to Seminary, is studying the best students of all ages who are coming to seminary today, interviewing on more than 20 campuses to discover how they get to seminary and how their vocational goals are shaped once they get there.
