The Film Premiering nationwide on PBS this Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, The Calling is a four-hour behind-the-scenes documentary series that looks at young Americans — Protestant, Jewish, Catholic, and Muslim — as they prepare to become the nation’s next generation of religious leaders. inclusion in the The Calling’s national campaign What’s Your Calling? to

The Calling is a four-hour PBS documentary series and community engagement campaign that follows the stories of Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Muslim Americans who are training for religious leadership. It follows these leaders as they embark on life paths that demand tremendous personal sacrifice and commitment and face a public that challenges the very relevance of their mission.

The Calling is a four-hour PBS/ITVS Independent Lens documentary miniseries and national engagement campaign that explores service and leadership in the U.S. through the eyes of seven young Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, and Jews who are pursuing leadership in the clergy.
