Let Auburn be a resource to you in your planning.  For the week of October 4, here are resources for you to trouble the waters and heal the world in your community.  Be sure to save the date for October 6th to watch Auburn’s live stream coverage of Take the Bully Out of the Pulpit, a thoughtful dialogue that looks at the NYC events surrounding the Park 51 Community Center and how these can be a teachable moment for us to learn new strategies for religious bridge building.

Take the Bully Out of the Pulpit If you’re part of Auburn’s New York City community we’ll hope you’ll join us in person and click here to learn how.  Or keep checking the Auburn Web site to watch this program featuring Rev. Dr. Jim Forbes, 20-something activisti Valarie Kahr and others as they learn from the “perfect storm” of recent event surrounding Park 51 Islamic Community Center and how we can prepare for the upcoming 10th anniversary of September 11th.
