On Saturday, March 3, the 2011 South African Home Group held an Awards Evening to celebrate the success of their year-long programming.  The Awards Evening was attended by around 150 people, including members of the 2011 Home Group and parents, the 2012 Home Group and parents, previous F2F Alumni and other supporters of F2F. The evening was organized by the GOAL (Giving Opportunities to Aspiring Leaders) Trust, Auburn’s partner in South Africa, as well as by members of the F2F Alumni Committee.

The theme of the Awards Evening was "Honoring Community Visionaries."  At the event, participants celebrated the completion of yearlong individual projects aimed at identifying visionaries within participants' communities, schools or religious circles.  Each participant then composed a motivational essay explaining the profound impact these visionaries have on their lives and why they felt compelled to honor them.  It was truly inspiring!
